Post Christmas Update

Just wanted to write a quickie before the weekend. Christmas was great all in all, and I think I need to move out of my apartment with all of the toys Dylan received! Most of all from Santa, so I'm definitely part to blame. I got so many great deals on Black Friday and Cyber Monday that I was able to get lots of stuff for him this year, too bad I don't have lots of space to store it all as well! But Dylan has been overdue for some new toys, he has outgrown his old ones and has been getting bored with them so I was happy to find stuff that he would love.

I cannot tell you how much joy I felt in seeing his happiness while opening presents. After hearing me say "woah" and "cool!" a few times while he was unwrapping, he started saying that while opening each gift as well. The cutest thing ever! He was careful to make sure all paper was off each gift, and he had so much fun. He wasn't feeling well, but was a trooper during Christmas Eve and Christmas day with the families. JC's entire family was sick as well, and I guess it caught up to me because the day after Christmas I got terribly sick. I went to urgent care yesterday, and was told I have strep throat and a touch of flu. Good times! But overall, it's been a wonderful Christmas, and I can't wait until the next one!
